Seagull bridge

It is very unique in that it looks as if it is about to take off toward the majestic Pacific Ocean at any moment.

The Shishikui Bridge, commonly called the Seagull Bridge, is 55 meters long and 6.4 meters wide, with the Shishikui River in the background, and its wings spread wide, making it look very unique as if it is about to take off toward the majestic Pacific Ocean.

People in the town said that it resembled a seagull flying through the wind, so in 1992 the head was attached and the wings were painted white, making it a genuine seagull bridge. In 2010, it underwent renovations and became the current bridge.
