Namikiri Fudoson Myotosugi

The carpet of moss, like the one in the story, is breathtaking.

Two cedar chopsticks erected by Kobo Daishi have sprouted into a large tree, and it looks as if they are holding up a large rock that is about to fall. It is said that when people who visit the Fudo-son enshrined in the depths of this cedar pass through, if they have a bad heart, they will be caught between the cedars and will not be able to pass.
This cedar is called "Toumyo-Sugi" (cedar of light) because the lights from the sea flew into the treetops of this large cedar and shone for seven nights.

*Moss is very delicate, please do not step on the moss and proceed only on the promenade. Thank you for your cooperation.
